Give your child an unforgettable summer experience inside a real flight school environment. The Avia Young Aviator Academy is a structured aviation enrichment program designed to inspire, educate, and build confidence in the next generation of aviators.
Hosted at Avia Flight Academy, our academy blends hands-on learning, simulator experience, aircraft exposure, and professional mentorship — all within a safe, supportive environment.
🌟 Program Overview
- Recommended Ages: 12–17
- Duration: 1-week sessions (2 hours per day)
- 5 sessions plus optional flight
- Optional advanced & elite progression tracks
- Highly interactive and engaging sessions
- Activities, scenarios, games and airport tours to reinforce the learning are woven into each lesson.
- Conducted at our training facility, students experience aviation beyond the classroom — real airport operations, air traffic control, multiple aircrafts, runway access, maintenance hangers and more

🟦 Level 1: Discovery Week
Introduction to Aviation
Perfect for first-time participants.
Curriculum Focus:
- Principles of flight
- Aircraft parts & systems overview
- Basic aerodynamics
- Introduction to airspace & air traffic control
- Weather basics
- Preflight walk-around demonstration
- Simulator experience
- Aviation careers overview

🟩 Level 2: Advanced Aviator
Designed for returning students or those ready to go deeper with a previous similar aviation camp experience.
Curriculum Focus:
- Navigation fundamentals
- Aeronautical Decision Making (ADM)
- Risk management
- Cross-country planning
- Emergency procedures
- Advanced simulator scenarios
Experience Highlights:
- Structured flight scenario simulations
- Team-based flight planning challenge
- Guest pilots Q&A session

🟨 Tier 3: Elite Aviator
Pre-Flight Training Track (Ages 15+)
For students seriously considering flight training and/or invite-based for students who have completed levels 1&2 .
This Advanced experience focuses on:
- Private Pilot ground school topics
- Radio communication practice
- Sectional chart reading
- Weather briefing interpretation
- Weight & balance exercises
- Structured flight lab simulations
Optional discovery flight experience available for students ready to take the next step
Tuition:
Classroom: $895
Optional flight: $230
All Level Students will receive:

Secure your student’s place in the Avia's Young Aviator Academy.
Enrollment in the Avia Young Aviator Academy requires a $195 non-refundable registration deposit to secure a student’s seat in the selected session. Registration is confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit and completed registration forms.
Remaining tuition balances must be paid in full no later than 21 days prior to the session start date. Failure to remit payment by the deadline may result in forfeiture of the reserved seat.
All sessions are subject to minimum enrollment requirements. If a session does not meet the required minimum, Avia Flight Academy reserves the right to:
- Consolidate sessions
- Transfer enrollment to an alternate session date
- Issue a tuition credit
- Provide a refund of tuition paid
Families will be notified at least 7–10 days prior to the session start date if adjustments are necessary.
Cancellation by Parent/Guardian
If a parent or guardian cancells a student’s enrollment:
- The registration deposit is non-refundable.
- Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to the session start date will receive a refund of tuition paid, minus the deposit.
- Cancellations made within 14 days of the session start date are non-refundable.
Tuition may be transferred to another session (space permitting) within the same calendar year at the discretion of Avia Flight Academy.
Absences & Missed Sessions
No refunds, credits, or prorated tuition will be issued for missed days due to illness, scheduling conflicts, or personal reasons. However, Avia Flight Academy will make its best effort to accommodate a student in an alternate session week, space permitting. Make-up sessions are not guaranteed and are subject to availability.
We will try to accommodate every Young Aviator, and once the spots get filled up, we will form a waitlist. If there is a minimum required number of participants on the waitlist, we will be happy to add another session.
