Middle/High School Ages
Young Aviator Academy is specifically designed for boys and girls, Middle and High school ages to spark and nurture their interest in science and to provide an exciting opportunity to explore the world of aviation. There is hardly a better way to introduce STEM to children than through aviation. Young Aviators will learn hands-on about multitude of aerodynamics topics, flight planning and flying an actual airplane, if they choose to.
LEARN TO FLY AND FLY
Your will learn the basic principles of aerodynamics, flight instruments, controls, weather patterns, communications and charts and will have the opportunity to apply it in a simulator and a real airplane, accompanied by an FAA certified flight instructor.
IT IS ALL ABOUT SCIENCE
First things first. Understanding the scientific principles of flight is the foundations of learning how to fly. We will also learn about technology, design and mathematical calculation necessary to carry out a flight.
ENGAGE AND INTERACT
Our lessons are built on innovative learning practices to encourage engagement and interaction throughout the session. Activities, scenarios, games and airport tours to reinforce the learning are woven into each lesson.
BE CREATIVE AND THINK
We will look at the things from different perspectives and focus on solving challenging problems.

- Five 120-minute classroom sessions
- One flight session with an FAA-certified instructor in one of our airplanes (a parent is welcome to sit in the back during flight, complimentary)

If you child is starting high school in the fall, you can sign up for high school level session.

A minimum group size for each session is 5 participants. In the event that we do not have the minimum number for the session, morning and afternoon sessions might be combined. Max number per session is 15. We will try to accommodate every young aviator, and once the spots get filled up, we will form a waitlist. If there is a minimum required number of participants on the waitlist, we will be happy to add another session.

Academy program payment is due in full by June 1st 2024.

$299 non-refundable fee required for registration to hold your spot* This amount will be deducted from total tuition but is non-refundable if you decide not to proceed with participation in the program.
